Oakland Cemetery Board Elects New Officers

At its regular December board meeting the Oakland Cemetery Preservation Society board of directors elected a new slate of officers. They are:

• President – Ms. Anna Maria Sparke Keele
• Vice-president - Dr. Gary Joiner
• Secretary – Mr. Tim Wachtel
• Treasurer – Ms. Marsha Gill

The board also welcomed two new members to its midst. Their names are Mr. Keith Evans and Mr. Steve Smith.

The remaining members of the board are:

• Mr. O. Delton Harrison
• Mr. Jerry Jones
• Ms. Carolyn Nelson
• Mrs. Virginia Shehee
• Mr. Jack Sibley
• Mr. Hines Vaughan
